Our Mission
Berkeley Mountain Bike Association (BMBA, also known as the Berkeley Mountain Bike team) is an independent club mountain bike program based in Berkeley, CA with a mission to educate high school students through mountain biking, fostering resilience, grit, community, respect, integrity, and a lifelong love of sport.
BMBA is an inclusive, experiential sport program with a commitment to empowering our youth by working in partnership with the community to assure equity and provide services, opportunities, and leadership necessary to establish and maintain a safe, high quality high school mountain bike program. BMBA was organized exclusively for public, charitable, and/or educational purposes within the scope of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
